Clarifying the underlying ideological motivation of the United Voices.
Like all other world federalists, we are cosmopolitans.
What is cosmopolitanism?
We can start by defining what we are not. Cosmopolitanism is a very young movement just starting to see popular support. The old world order is falling, and as you can see, anarchy and chaos is increasing around the world. Cosmopolitans are one of the contenders to be stewards of the new world order - our enemies being warmongers, nationalists, autocrats, dictators, racists, dommers, effective accelerationists, and everybody working against the interests of the human people.
Now for a positive definition of Cosmopolitanism.
In current moral philosophy, cosmopolitanism is most often equated with the endorsement of the idea that a theory of global justice should address the needs and interests of human individuals directly - regard them as citizens of the world - rather than indirectly, via their membership in different states.
Since its origins with the Cynics and Stoics, however, the term has had multiple meanings, and the spectrum of particular affiliations or the endorsement of a common bond with all other humans.
The range of meanings now includes, in addition to a position on global justice, a particular view of modern identity, a political theory about the proper relations among the states of the world, the view that states should dissolve into a unified world state, and many other views as well.
We can also look at more concrete policies cosmopolitans should support based on their values. These include extensive foreign aid, rights of refugees and minorities, monism domestication of international law (where international law automatically becomes part of domestic law without needing separate legislation), support of multilateral institutions (like the united nations), opposition to imperialism.
Humanity first.
